You got to look up. We should start by
acquiring the habit of looking up. We got to walk the streets, that’s for sure,
but with our heads held up high. Try it out, and I am pretty sure that you´ll
be gladly surprised with what you see. Bear in mind, though, that you will need
to be wary of your fellow side street walkers, because it might come as a
surprise if you actually pay attention, that most of them stare at their feet
when they walk. Maybe even more important than avoiding bumping into people is
the fact that you should try to avoid stepping on dog droppings, which abound
in the streets of Buenos Aires!
From the perspective of someone who is not in the least knowledgeable in architectural styles, such as me, the beauty of our buildings can be appreciated by just consciously looking around us. More importantly, looking upwards.
