Arte Callejero XII / Street Art XII

Creo que buscar y encontrar murales por las calles de Buenos Aires es algo que nunca me va a  terminar de cansar. Hay variedad y calidad, y lo mejor de todo es que están en constante evolución. Mutan, se transforman, cambian. De un día para el otro, una simple pared se convierte en la obra de arte de algún artista callejero.

I truly think that looking for street art around the city of Buenos Aires is something I am never going to get tired of. There is variety and quality out there, and what I really enjoy is the dynamics of it all. It is constantly changing and evolving. From one day to the next, a simple wall becomes the canvas on which our street artists can do what they do best: Create.

Arte Callejero V / Street Art V

Un poco más de arte callejero por las calles de Buenos Aires. Un lector me pidió que pusiera al pie de cada fotografía la dirección en la que se encuentra cada una de las obras. Después de pensarlo un tiempo decidí no hacerlo. Y acá expongo el porque - Perdería la gracia. Lo divertido de encontrar estas obras es la búsqueda misma, sumado al hecho de que muchos de estos murales ya no existen más! algunos perduran pero a otros se los pinta rapidamente por encima. Mi recomendación es que simplemente salgan a caminar y se van a sorprender de lo que pueden llegar a encontrar!

And yet again a bit more of the Street Art of Buenos Aires. One of the blog´s followers suggested that I should identify the location of each of these in order to find them themselves. After considering this for some time I decided against this. No reference to where they can be found! Why? well I believe that the idea is for one to go out there and find them themselves. Discover what the Street Art scene has to offer in the city. So get up, get out, and start walking!

Arte Callejero IV / Street Art IV

Un tema recurrente en el blog: el arte callejero. Lo interesante de esto es que mientras que mucho en la ciudad de Buenos Aires es estático e inmutable, la expresión artística callejera cambia, se adapta, muta y evoluciona. De la noche a la mañana, murales y calles cambian su fisionomía, y nos ofrecen las miradas de los artistas que las transforman. Acá dejo nuevamente una selección de las obras que vi recientemente en mis caminatas por la ciudad.

I guess it is a recurring theme on this blog: Street Art. I find that what is so interesting about this, is the fact that whilst so many things remain unchanged and stagnant in the city of Buenos Aires, its street art changes constantly, mutates and adapts all of the time. One can wake up to find a completely new vision of the streets and walls of the city, with the personal touch and vision of its artists. Here I leave you with another sample of the creations I´ve recently stumbled upon in my walks through the city.
