On the 13th of October, the streets of Buenos Aires welcomed the traditional Bolivian festivities related to the Virgin of Copacabana. These took place as an activity within the National day of American Cultural Diversity. A sort of response to the traditional "day of the race" (celebrated on October 12th as an anniversary of the "discovery" of America by Colombus). Over 12 thousand members of the Bolivian community took to the streets with their costumes and outfits and danced to the rithm of thier music bands.
It is estimated that anywhere between 1.5 and 2 million Bolivian nationals currently live in Argentina. Making this the largest Bolivian Cummunity in the world.
